chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend filled with family and friends and lots of yummy food!

My parents are all moved in to their house in Alabama (which is how I spent my Thanksgiving, more on that in the coming days). I have spent the last week running on adrenaline and not much else. Today was the first real day that I had in the house since getting back from Alabama and my to do list is a mile long.

OK, not really. But it sure seems like it.

Especially if you have been averaging about 4 hours of sleep a night for the last week.

I'm just sayin'.

The good news is the care packages I am putting together for three friends in Afghanistan are almost done and will hopefully find their way to the post office tomorrow. I managed to sew four stockings that look pretty decent to hang on the mantel. Oh, and I finally got around to seeing a doctor about my hand. Not too shabby for a day's worth of work.

Mabry is finally in bed and Dan is at school (gotta love night class!) for at least another hour and a half. So instead of cleaning up the kitchen and the man cave like I planned, I am just mindlessly surfing the Internet for random stuff.

This video is a particular favorite. I think it could be the slap happy sleep deprivation kicking in, but I bet if I have watched it once I have watched it 10 times in the last twenty minutes. So sit back, relax and enjoy. I'm off to work on our Christmas decoration post. Or maybe the Thanksgiving weekend post? Hmm...decisions decisions...
